Hi! I'm Sarah, founder of sewalk8 Yoga & Holistic Health. My journey to holistic health and movement has been both personal and profound.
From childhood, I battled a relentless cycle of chronic illnesses - from severe allergies and asthma to depression and chronic fatigue. While managing these health challenges, I maintained an active lifestyle, including 15 years of professional dance training. However, my path took an unexpected turn when an accident left me with broken legs and hardware in my right femur.
This became a pivotal moment in my journey. Learning to walk again was challenging, but it led me to discover the transformative power of yoga. Through yoga, I finally found a form of movement that made my entire body - and mind - feel great without aggravating my injuries. I've since expanded my practice to include Pilates and the Trapeze, which have been especially beneficial for back pain and overall body awareness.
Parallel to my movement journey, I discovered the healing potential of whole foods and natural wellness practices. Following the principles of Medical Medium, I transformed my health by embracing whole foods and letting go of processed alternatives. The results have been nothing short of miraculous:
